HBH Board Member Honored with Spurgeon Award
HUNTINGTON BEACH - Cathy Green, Mayor of Huntington Beach and chair of the Board of Directors at Huntington Beach Hospital, was honored by Learning for Life/Exploring of Orange County with the prestigious Willliam H. Spurgeon Award for her long-standing commitment and devotion to her community.
She serves on the Orange County Transportation Authority, Orange County Council Government and the Orange County Medical Emergency Commission. She represented Huntington Beach on the League of California Cities Environmental Quality Policy Committee, Orange County Harbors, Beaches and Parks Commission and the Orange County Waste Management Commission.
Cathy works as a patient advocate and holds degrees in both law and nursing.
