Wound Healing Center Open House Held
More than 60 community members, business leaders, and physicians attended a recent open house held by Huntington Beach Hospital's Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center. Guests at the event had an opportunity to meet the center's physicians and staff members, tour the state-of-the-art clinic, and enjoy refreshments.
Therapies utilized by the clinic to promote wound healing include Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, debridement, infection management, bio-engineered tissue, compression therapy, and advanced dressing technology.
The center treats a variety of wounds such as diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, infections, osteomyelitis and soft tissue radionecrosis.
Huntington Beach Hospital offers the only hospital-based Hyperbaric Treatment Program in the Huntington Beach area.
