February 27, 2008 2008 (Huntington Beach, CA)
The Cardiac Catheterization and Peripheral Vascular Laboratory at Huntington Beach Hospital was unveiled at a grand opening and dedication ceremony held on February 21, 2008. Members of the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Huntington Beach City Council helped dedicate the new laboratory. Dr. Prem Reddy, chairman of Prime Healthcare Services, and other Prime Healthcare executives, were also in attendance.
The multi-million dollar state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory will enable cardiologists to view the digital images of coronary arteries and blood vessels of the limbs as well as perform coronary/peripheral interventions and therapy. The peripheral vascular component of the new laboratory will allow for diagnostic and interventional procedures to be performed on extremities such as the vessels in the legs which will address the growing awareness of peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
Patients will be scheduled for procedures in the new Cardiac Catheterization and Peripheral Vascular Laboratory beginning the first week in March. For more information, call the hospital at (714) 843-5000.
